LISCO produces a record 861,000 tonnes of steel billets in 2025

Libyan Iron and Steel Company achieves record production in HBI and DRI

‎The Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) announced last Tuesday (13 January) that its Steel Factory No. (01) achieved a record in 2025, after its production of steel billets reached 861,000 tonnes.

It stressed that this is the highest level of steel billet production recorded since the establishment of the company.‎
