The Ministry of Economy and Trade reported yesterday that its Undersecretary, Suhail Abu Shiha, met with the Chargé d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, Liu Jian, to discuss strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting addressed:
- Facilitating the work of Chinese companies in various sectors
- Increasing the volume of trade between the two countries
- Reviewing the Libyan government’s vision for developing the renewable energy sector
- Reviewing the significant advantages offered by Special Economic Zones designated for export purposes for establishing investment projects
