Benghazi Chamber participates in workshop on the blue economy

Benghazi Chamber of Commerce announced today that the second edition of the Libyan Russian Economic Forum will be held in Moscow and St. Petersburg from 18 to 22 May.

The Chamber said this comes within the framework of implementing the Benghazi based Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s plan to enhance economic diplomacy and building on the success of the first edition of the Libyan Russian Economic Forum, held in Benghazi in February 2025.

It will be recalled that Benghazi Chamber had reported that an MoU was signed on 22 February at the forum between the Russian Businessmen Association and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Libya, to ‘‘enhance cooperation and open new investment horizons’’.‎

Benghazi Chamber reported that the second edition of the forum will be held in coordination with the Benghazi based Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, and in accordance with the official letter of the Benghazi based Minister of Foreign Affairs No. (2025/879) dated April 29, 2025.
