Benghazi Municipality reported yesterday that engineers of the Korean Daewoo Engineering and Construction Company began their evaluation visit of the targeted work sites slated for radical maintenance programme within the Benghazi Medical Centre (‘‘the 1200 hospital’’).
The visit comes in implementation of the management plan of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund set for the second phase of the development of the Greater Benghazi City, and under Belgassem Khalifa Haftar, Director General of the Fund.
The engineers, the Municipality reported, were briefed by Fathia Al-Oraibi, Director General of the Fund, on the condition of the hospital and the necessary work to start preparing a complete plan for the radical maintenance of the building according to the international standards adopted in the Fund.
