Libya’s state National Oil Corporation announced today that its subsidiary, Mellitah Oil and Gas Company, was able, today, to resume exploration for well A1 in the Abu Attifel field.
The NOC said the results of initial tests were a production of 2,773 barrels of oil per day, up from 700 barrels.
It said this resumed exploration well comes in implementation of its strategic plan to increase production.
