Sirte Oil and Gas reported Sunday that its specialists, together with those from the National Oil Corporation, discussed with a specialized delegation from U.S. company Honeywell UOP the development of the Marsa El Brega refinery.
During the meeting, they discussed changing the catalyst in the refinery’s gasoline production unit.
A study on the possibility of developing the refinery to increase production capacity was also discussed, as Honeywell will present an initial study on the possibility of increasing the production capacity of the refinery.
It will be recalled that on 26 March this year Honeywell UOP signed a contract with Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Company for the implementation of the South Refinery in Ubari.
