The Libyan British Business Council (LBBC) announced today that it is to lead a delegation of international companies to Benghazi from 30 November to 4 December 2026. The business mission is organised in partnership with Libya’s Privatisation and Investment Board (PIB).

The LBBC said as Benghazi enters its next phase of development it is taking international businesses directly to the organisations shaping it.

With major projects advancing across infrastructure, energy, healthcare, education and digital connectivity, the mission programme will give delegates the opportunity to explore the market and engage directly with the institutions and businesses leading these developments.

The LBBC said this will be its third business delegation to Benghazi, building on previous visits in 2023 and 2024 and its continued engagement with the city’s expanding commercial activity.

it said that for businesses exploring opportunities in Benghazi, the delegation offers a practical route to gain firsthand insight, build relationships and assess where their expertise can add value.
