The Tripoli based Libyan government announced today the operations statistics for the National Cancer Institute in Sabrata for the first half of 2026.
These statistics come as part of its programme to localise treatment within the country.
The National Cancer Institute in Sabrata recorded:
- More than 32,000 laboratory tests
- Nearly 10,000 radiological examinations
- More than 9,600 chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions
- Received 27,570 outpatients in 2026
