Benghazi Chamber of Commerce reported yesterday that it had participated in the contract signing ceremony for the establishment and development of the Julyana Tourist Area between Enmaa Company and Egypt's Waterway Company, a subsidiary of the Elsewedy Group.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from various government agencies and relevant institutions.

The project includes the construction of towers, facilities, and integrated tourist areas, reflecting a vision to develop the Julyana area and enhance tourism and urban development investment in Benghazi. This will contribute to supporting economic activity and creating new opportunities for the private sector, the Chamber added.

Benghazi Chamber said its participation in this event underscored its commitment to supporting investment and development projects and encouraging partnerships between the public and private sectors. This fosters a favourable investment climate and supports development and reconstruction efforts in Benghazi, which has recently become an attractive environment for investment.

This step comes, it added, within the framework of the economic and urban development taking place in the city, and the expansion in the implementation of high-quality projects that will contribute to developing infrastructure, services, and tourist facilities, and enhance Benghazi's position as a promising economic and tourist destination.
