The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) reported yesterday that it had held a series of technical and professional meetings to discuss ways to improve operations and increase production rates.
Khaled Al-Hassi, a member of the Management Committee for Exploration, Production, and Information, met with representatives of Oilserv to review the company's work in improving and maximizing the utilization of high-productivity drilling rigs and developing wells in exploration blocks that have not yet been brought online.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of developing training programmes to enhance the skills and capabilities of technical staff.
In the same context, a meeting was held with CAMCO to discuss the field work it is carrying out in the company’s fields.
The meeting also addressed harnessing all technical and technological capabilities to contribute to production increase projects, and to follow up on the operations carried out on the oil wells, and to reintroduce the closed (disabled) wells into the production lines.
There was also continuous emphasis from those present on the importance of developing training programmes dedicated to AGOCO employees to develop their field and technical skills.
