Libya’s Tripoli based Minister of Housing and Construction, Essam Al-Tamouni, met yesterday, at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters, with a delegation from the Chinese Housing, Construction, and Development Company to discuss cooperation and the company's potential contribution to the implementation of housing and development projects that the Ministry aims to carry out in the coming phase.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the Ministry's keenness to expand cooperation with experienced international companies and to benefit from successful experiences in the field of housing and construction. This will contribute to supporting the state's efforts to implement high-quality projects that meet citizens' needs and contribute to developing urban infrastructure in various regions, he added.
The Minister also stressed the importance of transferring expertise and modern technologies and strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors. He added that this will support the implementation of projects according to the highest technical and engineering standards and achieve the goals of sustainable urban development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to hold an expanded meeting in the coming period, which will be dedicated to presenting a comprehensive overview of the company, its previous experiences, and its areas of work. This will be attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank and the General Manager of the Bank, along with several of the Ministry's advisors, to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the necessary executive steps to move forward in this direction.
