Zliten Chamber of Commerce received an Italian trade delegation yesterday.
The Chamber said the visit comes as part of its efforts to strengthen economic cooperation and open new horizons for investment and partnership between the local and international private sectors.
Specifically, it aims to explore business and investment opportunities within the Zliten municipality and to enhance avenues for joint cooperation in various economic fields.
The visit took place in the presence of Ali Faraj Al-Ayan, a member of the Municipal Council; Jalal Bani, Chairman of the Zliten Chamber of Commerce; Ahmed Al-Safrani, Director General of the Chamber; several members of the Chamber's Board of Directors; and other stakeholders in the economic sector.
During the meeting, several important topics were discussed that would support the local economy.
The two sides discussed available investment opportunities within the Zliten municipality and promising sectors that could create an attractive environment for foreign capital, particularly in production, services, infrastructure, and food industries.
During the visit, the Italian delegation toured the municipal slaughterhouse, observing its operations and available resources. They explored potential upgrades and improvements to meet modern standards, aiming to enhance service quality and food safety.
The delegation expressed strong interest in the proposed projects, commending the efforts of the Chamber and Zliten Municipality in organizing such meetings, which foster international cooperation and bolster the local economy.
At the conclusion of the visit, the importance of continuing these meetings and expanding future cooperation was emphasized, with the goal of serving the municipality's interests and strengthening investment opportunities.
