Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported yesterday that technical teams at Mellitah Oil & Gas Company successfully rehabilitated well R11 and brought it back into production after installing an electronically controlled submersible pump (ESP). Oil production has reached approximately 2,062 barrels per day.
The NOC said that this achievement is part of Mellitah’s plan to reactivate dormant wells and increase production capacity, thereby enhancing production sustainability and achieving operational objectives.
