The Libyan Embassy in France reported yesterday that its Chargé d’affaires met Philippe Gautier, the Director General of France’s leading business group, MEDEF International, in a productive meeting aimed at supporting economic diplomacy and strengthening economic cooperation between Libya and France.
The meeting addressed arrangements for organising an economic mission for French companies to Libya, as well as emphasizing the importance of supporting efforts to establish a direct flight route between the two countries, given its role in facilitating business travel and boosting trade.
Both sides also stressed the importance of continued coordination and holding meetings between Libyan and French officials to help overcome challenges and facilitate economic cooperation.
