Calm has returned to the Janzour area west of Tripoli after a night of clashes between local state-recognized armed groups.
The clashes reportedly erupted between members of the 6th Support Battalion and personnel affiliated with Force 137 (Western Coast) following the arrest of a member of the 6th Support Battalion. Battalion 52 intervened to resolve the conflict.
At the time of writing, the Tripoli government has, as is the usual case, failed to mention the clashes. No serious injuries or deaths have been reported by any medical authority, although social media reports some material damage.
