The “Money and Business” Economic Exhibition and Conference was held from 24-26 January in Benghazi.
The organisers described the event as a specialized economic platform that brings together the banking sector and its complementary companies, within a regulatory framework that reflects the reality and trends of the financial and business environment.
The conference included specialized sessions and events including:
– “Islamic Banking and its Role in Real Estate Finance (Lease-to-Own) and Istisna’a (Islamic contracts).”
This discussed the role of Islamic banking in supporting real estate finance, reviewed the importance of Sharia-compliant financing formulas, and their importance in providing sustainable financing solutions that contribute to stimulating the real estate sector and enhancing financial stability.
– “The Future of the Libyan Stock Market in Light of Economic Changes”
The session addressed the most prominent economic developments and their impact on the Libyan Stock Market, the opportunities and challenges facing the financial sector, as well as strategies to enhance stability and growth in the financial sector.
– “Electronic Tools and Digital Transformation”
The session discussed the role of digital solutions and modern technologies in developing financial services, enhancing efficiency, and supporting digital transformation in banking and economic institutions.
It also discussed and reviewing the most prominent challenges and opportunities associated with adopting electronic systems and their impact on the business environment, in addition to the role of digital innovation in enhancing sustainability and competitiveness.
– “Entrepreneurship Starts Now – A Graduate’s Guide to Transitioning to the Business World”
A training course was held aimed at providing graduates with the basic knowledge of entrepreneurship and career path building, helping them transition from the academic environment to the business world with confidence and efficiency.
