The Libyan Turkish Business Forum for Construction and Building Materials, organized by MUSIAD Libya, concluded last Thursday (15 January), with the participation of more than 40 specialized Libyan and Turkish companies. The forum’s b2b programme focused on building practical and sustainable partnerships.

Participants included Ömer Kandemir, Chairman of the Construction and Building Materials Committee of the Association, Murtaza Karanfil, President of MUSIAD Libya, and Cahit Usta, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office.

The forum featured in-depth discussions on cooperation mechanisms in the construction sector, building materials and supply chains, real estate investment and its opportunities within the Libyan market, and the needs of Turkish companies operating or wishing to operate in Libya, particularly in essential services such as insurance, commercial banking, legal and consulting services, as well as related regulatory and operational aspects.

The forum also contributed to bridging perspectives, identifying realistic cooperation opportunities, and laying the groundwork for future partnerships between the two sides.
