Benghazi Chamber of Commerce reported yesterday that it had received Said Benkiran, Consul General of Morocco, at the Chamber’s Benghazi headquarters.
The Consul was received by Munim Al-Saity, Chairman of Benghazi Chamber of Commerce and Muhanad Ramadan, Director General of Benghazi Chamber.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries, activate economic partnerships, and discuss available opportunities in the fields of trade, industry, and agriculture, as well as the exchange of expertise between businesspeople from both sides.
Mechanisms for supporting joint economic initiatives and facilitating procedures to stimulate trade and open new avenues of cooperation that serve mutual interests were also discussed.
Benghazi Chamber reported that the Consul General of Morocco expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, commending the role of Benghazi Chamber of Commerce in supporting bilateral economic relations, and affirming his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Libyan economic institutions.
