Hatif (phone) Libya Company organized a forum last Thursday (18 December) under the banner “Hatif Libya – 15 Years of Communication”, which it said was a pivotal event that combined reflecting on the company’s institutional legacy with a steady march towards a smarter and more efficient future in the telecommunications sector.
Zero Touch project
The company launched the Zero Touch project, as one of its most important strategic projects, which is a transition from traditional operating models to a self-managed smart grid model, which enhances automation, raises operational readiness, and improves the quality and sustainability of services in accordance with international standards.
The project was launched through the signing of cooperation agreements and strategic partnerships with a select group of international companies and consultants: Makman Consulting, COMARCH, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, and STL.
This was done under the supervision of the Holding Company for Communications and the Communications and Informatics Authority, ensuring institutional integration and good governance for the project.
The forum programme commenced with official remarks reflecting the national drive towards digital transformation. It was emphasized that Zero Touch is not merely a technological project, but rather an operational vision and a long-term strategic investment.
The forum also featured specialized technical presentations by partners, showcasing the latest global practices in network automation and operations management. These were followed by a comprehensive professional panel discussion that addressed the current state of digital transformation in the telecommunications sector, operational challenges, and opportunities for future development.
