The Libyan Business Council (LBC) reported yesterday that last Saturday (22 November), its Benghazi branch for the Eastern Region, headed by Mr. Fahmi Al-Jahmi, was reopened at its new headquarters in the Al-Massa Commercial Complex on Dubai Street.
The opening ceremony was attended by several businessmen and specialists, as well as representatives from government institutions related to the economic and investment sectors. The event included open discussions on several economic issues affecting citizens’ needs and the investment climate in the Eastern Region.
The LBC said the launch of this branch represents an important step towards strengthening its presence in the Eastern Region and organizing the efforts of the private sector through programmes. These include holding regular meetings, developing projects, contributing to improving service levels, providing technical and administrative support to business owners, and networking and establishing partnerships with local and international entities to serve economic development in Benghazi and throughout the Eastern Region.
