Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba held an extensive meeting on yesterday that included the Acting Minister of Interior, Major General Imad Trabelsi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, Abdel Salam Al-Zoubi, to follow up on the developments of the security and military files.
The Tripoli government reported that the meeting focused on assessing the level of readiness of the security and military agencies, and the coordination mechanisms between the Ministries of Interior and Defence to raise the efficiency of field work and ensure a quick response to any threats or violations.
The meeting also discussed plans to enhance stability, including securing vital facilities and developing the capabilities of units tasked with protecting borders and sensitive sites.
Aldabaiba stressed the need to submit periodic reports on the progress of operations and the progress of implementation, stressing that the government is continuing to strengthen the security and military system to ensure stability and protect national sovereignty.
