As part of exploring investment and cooperation opportunities, Misrata Free Zone reported that it received yesterday a high-level delegation from DHL, one of the world’s largest international logistics and shipping companies.
The delegation included Majed Ragheb, CEO of DHL North Africa; Omar Tantawi, Country Manager of DHL Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Libya; Khaled Sabry, Director of Maritime Shipping in North Africa; Fatima Al-Yousfi, Commercial Director of DHL Libya; and Ahmed Al-Qandouz, Country Manager of DHL Libya.
During the visit, a detailed presentation was given on MFZ’s strategic assets, competitive advantages, operational capabilities, important geographical location, advanced infrastructure, and future expansion projects.
The delegation toured various facilities, including the seaport, where they were briefed on operational capabilities, available resources, and recent projects.
MFZ said this visit reflects the growing interest of major international companies in investing in it, enhancing its position as a promising strategic destination for trade and logistics services on one of the world’s most important maritime corridors.
