AGOCO reactivates stalled old Nafoura well to produce 1,200 bpd

The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) held a meeting last Wednesday (24 September) with UK Lighting Group, a company specializing in renewable energy technologies.

During the meeting, the British company presented a technical presentation showcasing the latest technologies used in clean energy, along with the most prominent projects it has implemented in this sector.

This initiative comes as part of the National Oil Corporation’s (NOC) efforts to promote sustainability and energy resources, AGOCO said.

This meeting also comes in implementation of the directives of the Chairman of AGOCO, Mohamed bin Shatwan, regarding the shift to renewable energy and its investment in the development of discovered fields to raise their production efficiency and increase their economic returns.
