The Tripoli based Military Industries Organisation, part of the Tripoli based Ministry of Defence headed by Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, announced last Tuesday (5 July) the opening of the “Libyan Inventor” office at the headquarters of the Mechanical Industries Centre on Tripoli’s Sawani Road.
The Military Industries Organisation said this comes as part of its strategy to support national competencies, encourage local research and innovation and to expand the base of community participation in the fields of manufacturing and technical development.
It said the office will be an official platform to receive the owners of ideas, inventions, innovations and owners of viable projects from various fields, and to incubate and provide technical and logistical support to transform ideas, guiding them into actionable industrial models within studied scientific and industrial paths.
It added that it believes that Libyan minds can make a difference, and that every innovative idea deserves to be an opportunity.
The Military Industries Organisation invited all talented people, inventors and those interested in industrial, technical or military development, to contact it and register through the office to contribute to building a promising national manufacturing base.
