The Director General of the eastern based Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belgasem Khalifa Haftar, signed a contract last Tuesday (8 July) with Ankamenia Construction Company, to implement the maintenance and development project of the medical colleges complex of the University of Benghazi. The Fund said Ankamenia Construction ‘‘is considered one of the largest specialized companies’’.
It said the project comes as part of efforts to rebuild and develop the infrastructure of educational institutions in Libya.
This project includes comprehensive maintenance works for classrooms, auditoriums, laboratories, activity facilities, the library, as well as all faculties of the medical complex.
This signing also comes within the framework of an expanded plan to improve the educational environment and provide advanced infrastructure that keeps pace with modern academic standards in all Libyan cities.
