Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced today that it has signed an MoU in Istanbul with Turkey’s Petroleum Company, TPAO.
Under this memorandum, the NOC reported, the TPAO is to undertake a geological and geophysical study of 4 marine areas, and a two-dimensional seismic survey (10,000 linear kilometres) was also discussed. The data resulting from these surveys will be processed within a maximum period of 9 months.
