Moroccan Civil Aviation and Air Maroc delegation visits Benghazi’s Benina airport – direct flights to resume soon

Egyptian security inspection team tours Benghazi’s Benina airport

A Moroccan Civil Aviation and Royal Air Maroc delegation visited Benghazi’s Benina Airport last Wednesday (30 April). They were met by a Benina Airport delegation headed by its Director General.

The Moroccan delegation said their visit came within the framework of their endeavours to enhance contacts between the two countries and cooperate with the airport management to provide all facilities to citizens and build bridges of transport between the two countries.‎

‎The delegation conducted a field tour to visit all vital facilities inside the airport and all the services provided to airlines and check the security situation inside the airport.‎

‎The delegation was briefed on all aspects of the facilities provided by the airport to the operating airlines, whether local or foreign companies inside the airport, and they also reviewed all the safety regulations and regulations followed inside the airport and the extent of their compliance with international procedures and specifications in order to conduct their flights.‎

‎The delegation, Benina Airport reported, also expressed its admiration for the security methods used inside the airport and the separation of the air side inside the airport and the entire encirclement of Benina International Airport with a protection fence. They also expressed their admiration for the high-precision and advanced security protection devices with the specifications provided by the management of Benina International Airport to foreign and local airlines.‎

‎In conclusion, the delegation expressed its thanks to the Director of Benina International Airport for the hospitality and warm reception, stressing the opening of a direct line soon between Benina International Airport and Mohammed V Airport.‎
