The first ship has docked at Sirte Free Zone today loaded with cargo dedicated to strategic projects, Sirte Free Port reported today.
The Turkish ship, Mila Mon Lom, was met by a high-level delegation including the Chairman and General Manager of the Sirte Free Zone.
The ship is carrying more than 70 trucks containing modern construction equipment and devices dedicated to the Sirte Free Zone Port Hotel project, in addition to the Sirte International Stadium and Ajdabiya International Stadium projects.
Sirte Free Port says the docking of the ship reflects the recovery of maritime traffic at the port, amid hopes that this will contribute to stimulating development and reviving the local and national economy.
