‎Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported today that Richard Ward, Deputy CEO of U.S. oil services company, Weatherford, announced its return to work in Libya after a hiatus of more than ten years, expressing a real desire to resume its work of providing services to Libyan oil companies.‎

The announcement came during a meeting on the same day by Ward with the Chairman of the NOC at its Tripoli headquarters.

‎During the meeting, the NOC reported, Ward explained that the company has already started its work, from its new headquarters in Hay Al-Andalus in Tripoli, stressing its readiness to provide all its services from the field work site in the Jalo 59 field.‎
