The Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba, inaugurated yesterday the Artificial Eyes Manufacturing Department at the National Centre for Prosthetics in Misrata, in the presence of the head of the Department of Support and Development of Medical Services (DSDMS), along with several directors of departments at the Ministry of Health.

During his tour of the centre, Aldabaiba was briefed on the mechanism of work of the department and the services it provides, in addition to being briefed on the statistics of the work of the National Centre for Prosthetics.

In his speech, Aldabaiba stressed that the government is committed to providing the best health services to all citizens, with special attention to people with disabilities, to ensure that they receive the care they deserve and improve their quality of life.

The opening of the centre, the government said, comes as part of efforts to enhance treatment services and improve the quality of health care, which contributes to improving the lives of beneficiaries and expanding the scope of services.
