Ministry of Health delegation concludes 5-day visit to Germany exploring emergency care excellence

The World Health Organisation (WHO) Libya office reported yesterday that, in coordination with GIZ, the Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Health and a WHO delegation concluded a 5-day visit to Germany, exploring emergency care excellence.

WHO reported that the delegation visited BG Klinikum Unfallkrankenhaus in Berlin, discussing trauma care, burns, AI in radiology, and triage systems.

The delegation also visited Carl Thiem Hospital in Cottbus, to focus on isolation capacity, triage/workflow management, digitalization, and hospital performance improvements.
