The Libyan Business Council (LBC) hosted yesterday a delegation of Turkish companies headed by the President of the International Association of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen (TUSIAD).
The meeting comes within the framework of strengthening economic cooperation between the private sectors in Libya and Turkey, the LBC said.
The meeting included bilateral business meetings between Turkish companies and their Libyan counterparts, where Turkish companies expressed their interest in investing in the Libyan market, with a special focus on the industrial sector and energy. The meetings also discussed ways to support the localisation of industry, transfer knowledge and promoting industrial investments in a way that contributes to the development of the private sector and the diversification of the Libyan economy.
The meeting also included financing and lending institutions with the aim of supporting investment partnerships and enabling companies to access financing solutions that enhance opportunities for sustainable cooperation.
The event is part of a series of meetings organized by the LBC to open new horizons for international cooperation, develop the business environment and enable Libyan companies to build strategic partnerships that promote the growth of the private sector.
