Namaa Tamweel’s Home Projects Islamic micro loans booming

Libya’s Assaray Trade and Investment Bank’s (ATIB) micro and SME Islamic financing arm, Namaa Tamweel, says its Home Projects financing is booming having become very popular.

The loan offer enables cottage industries to increase production and quality, by improving the efficiency and speed of production, improve income, and expand their customer base by buying equipment or materials to improve home businesses

The package offers financing up to LD 18,000, with flexible repayment of up to 24 months.‎

‎In October, Namaa Tamweel celebrated five years of its establishment and ‘‘success and development through continued support of small and micro enterprises, to realize business visions and build a stronger economy’’.

During these five years it reports it was able to finance more than 200 projects and invest LD 7 million. It announced that it will soon be offering SME loans in Sebha too.
