Libyan participation in Egypt International Dates Exhibition 2024

Libyan Export Promotion Centre discusses with Italian Chamber export of olive oil, dates and tuna to Italy and Europe

The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) reported yesterday that several Libyan dates producing companies are participating, with its support, in Cairo’s fifth Egypt International Dates Forum and Exhibition (20 to 21 November).

The event included the presence of several ambassadors of countries in Cairo, with the participation of Arab and Asian countries, and with the participation of senior businessmen and importers of date products from several countries.

Developing Libyan companies’ export mechanisms
The LEPC said the exhibition is an opportunity to display new products and the latest manufacturing technologies, and various types of dates, making it a platform for exchanging experiences and developing export mechanisms.

The exhibition, the LEPC continued, is a great opportunity to export Libyan dates to global markets and Libya participated with several companies with the support of the LEPC for companies registered in its Exporters’ Register:

Libya won prizes in 2023 edition
The LEPC reminded that Libyan dates obtained the first, second and third ranks in the Cairo Festival for the year 2023 as the best quality dates with Arab and international participation and its distinction in its various types, which makes participation in this exhibition an opportunity to obtain export prospects in international markets.
