The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) announced today that the Misrata based Al-Ghazala Paints Company is preparing to export its second consecutive batch of paints and sealants to Niger, Benin and Mali.
Al-Ghazala Paints is registered in the LEPC’s Exporters’ Register, and hence it is recognised as an exporter and receives support from the LEPC.
The LEPC says the Al-Ghazala factory is one of the distinguished Libyan factories in the manufacture of paints and sealants and participated through it in several internal and external trade events, the last of which was in the October 2024 Moroccan Libyan Business Forum in Tangiers, Morocco.
The LEPC said that serious steps are now being taken by Libyan companies in breaking into the African markets with high-quality products and reserving a position worthy of the name of Libya.
Referring to the export order, Al-Ghazala said its export order of over 80 tons of water and oil-based paints and waterproofing materials, comes as part of its 2024 plan to open export markets in the African continent. It said the African market is currently experiencing a construction boom offering an opportunity for Al-Ghazala’s products manufactured to international specifications.
