‎Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced last Saturday (16 November) the commissioning of well Y 5 in area Y of the Nafoura field, immediately after the completion of the mechanical connection works of the well. The new addition will add about 2,000 barrels per day to the production capacity of the field.‎

‎Another 16 wells to be connected
AGOCO explained that work is continuing to complete the connection of 16 additional wells distributed across all of its fields.‎

‎These projects, which include mechanical and electrical connection of wells, aim to enhance the company’s production capacity, which contributes to raising production rates and achieving high operational efficiency that supports the company’s strategy to develop its production operations.‎

‎These steps are part of AGOCO’s efforts, in cooperation with the National Oil Corporation (NOC), to ensure the sustainability and increase of oil production in Libya.‎
