LAICO hotel, in Tunis, belonging to the Libyan African Investment Company, has been handed over to, and will be rebranded as, the Radisson Blu hotel.
LAICO’s Media Department said this is a ‘‘strategic agreement and partnership’’. It anticipates that revenue will ‘‘double and LAICO shares rise after this important move.”
It pointed out that the company LAICO is still under the European ban in its financial transactions and unable to benefit from global reservations platforms, such as Booking.com, Expedia and other platforms. It is therefore anticipated that this partnership will overcome all the restrictions that were imposed on the company and the ban in banking transactions and reservations.
