Economy Minister Hwej inaugurates ‘‘Made in Algeria 3’’ expo showcasing more than 90 companies

The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hwej, inaugurated the Made in Algeria 3 exhibition yesterday on the Tripoli International Fairgrounds, in the presence of the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Saad Al-Hanish and Nouri Al-Kati, the Ambassador of Algeria to Libya, Suleiman Shanin, representative of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Mr. Abdelraouf Abu Habila, and a group of business owners, companies and participants in the exhibition.‎

More than 90 Algerian companies in various fields participated in the event which will run from 3 to 6 June 2024.‎

‎In his inauguration speech, Minister Hwej pointed out the importance of opening horizons of cooperation with Algeria and creating a real opportunity for partnership between the local and Algerian private sectors.

He stressed the Ministry’s support for providing facilities for opening branches of Algerian companies and accrediting commercial agencies to them, which contributes to promoting investment and increasing the volume of trade exchanged between the two countries.‎

‎Economic Salon held on sidelines
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Economic Salon under the banner “A Platform for Investment and Development’’ will be held, bringing together various economic, industrial and commercial sectors for an opportunity to develop investment cooperation.‎
