Last Monday (10 June), Mitiga airport and the Tripoli based Libyan government reported that a delegation from Med Air, which specializes in assessing risks that threaten civil aviation security, visited Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport, to evaluate risks, security threats, and procedures followed at the airport.
The report said the visit comes as part of the work to lift restrictions imposed on Libyan airspace and national airlines.
