‘‘U.S. experts’’ visit Sirte’s single pivot agricultural irrigation circles – 87 irrigation circles will be restarted in 2025

The National Development Agency (based in eastern Libya) announced Sunday that it is currently initiating the re-operation and investment of the single pivot agricultural irrigation circles project established at the eastern entrance to the city of Sirte.

It reported that on Sunday afternoon, ‘‘a team of American experts made a special visit to the city of Sirte to review the aforementioned project’’.

In this context, the National Development Agency reported that, in cooperation with the Man-Made River Project Operation and Investment Authority, it will operate 87 single pivot agricultural irrigation circles next season.

It said this comes as part of its strategic plans and projects in the city of Sirte and the central region.
