The Attorney General’s Office reported today that the Tripoli Criminal Court issued a ruling to imprison five employees affiliated with the health sector for committing the crime of falsifying the data of workers in the centre for detecting suspected cases of Coronavirus.
The five were imprisoned for periods ranging from six months to five years collecting material benefits amounting to LD 640,000.
The convicted were obliging to return the amount to the public treasury and they were fined twice the amount.
