Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced yesterday that, Mellitah Oil and Gas Company was able to rehabilitate well A75 in the Abu Attifel field leading to an initial production rate of 4,000 bpd. This was up from its previous rate of 781 bpd.
The NOC said Mellitah carried out re-perforation and extension operations for the productive layers, to reach the new initial productivity results.
The NOC said this initiative comes as part of the implementation of its strategic plan to increase production.
