Sirte and BACB to improve cooperation

The Media and Communication Office of the Sirte Oil and Gas Production Company confirmed to Libya Herald that the strategic plan has been implemented to extract the targeted reserves in the depths of the desert in plot NC107 (25 kilometres south of the Al-Khair field, located to the south of Marsa Al-Brega and near the Marada area) by maintaining oil wells, re-entering, and revitalising them.

The Media Office pointed out that the beginning of the process was re-entering the A1-NC107 well, where the well test results showed daily production of more than 2,400 barrels of crude oil.

Plot NC107, the Media Office explained, was received from the National Oil Corporation in 2007, and one well was drilled in 2014. This plot currently includes 7 wells, three of which are productive. They are targeted for maintenance and re-entry and will be linked to the Al-Khair oil field and will add more than 3,000 barrels to daily production rates.

Sirte Oil increases gas pressure supplies to unprecedented 25 bar to Khoms power station
In a separate context, the Media and Communication Office said that its gas supply pressure to Khoms power station was raised to 25 bar for the first time since the establishment of the station.
