Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Wednesday the launch of its Investor Registration Portal which it says aims to exploit the potential of undeveloped oil fields and enhance the infrastructure of the oil sector.

Launching its new investor portal, the NOC said ‘‘As we navigate through an era of unprecedented opportunities within the energy sector, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya stands on the cusp of a significant upsurge in oil production, with a strategic target to reach 2 million barrels per day. This milestone is more than a figure; it represents our unwavering commitment to Libya’s economic renaissance and the global energy landscape’s evolution.

In the spirit of transparency and partnership that defines our operations, we are taking a holistic approach to investment across the industry’s spectrum:

Upstream: We are identifying and capitalizing on the potential of our yet-to-be-developed fields, aiming to substantially increase our output.

Midstream: We are enhancing our infrastructure, ensuring the efficient transport and storage of our resources.
