The Libyan Export Promotion Centre acknowledged Wednesday Al-Qour Dates Production Company or its exports of first-class degla (deglet) dates to both Malaysia and Indonesia.

Al-Qour Company is one of the companies registered in the LEPC’s official Exporters’ Registry and has participated in many internal and external exhibitions, the most recent of which was in Mauritania. The LEPC said its products always attract the admiration of visitors in all exhibitions.

It is noteworthy that Al-Qour Company has previously exported its date products to several countries, including Morocco, Hungary, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada and Turkey.

The LEPC is attempting to increase Libyan exports of non-hydrocarbon products in an effort to diversify the Libyan economy by creating alternative sources of jobs and revenues.
