Last Saturday, the Attorney General’s Office announced that it had charged a Pharmacists Syndicate official, a pharmacist and thirteen expatriates for trafficking in medicines and commercial fraud in medical supplies.

The Libyans and expatriates are accused of labelling substandard or incorrect medicines with other better known or more expensive trademarks, with the intention of fraud and unlawful gain.
