The Attorney General’s Office announced Sunday that it had ordered a fuel supply ban on 32 petrol stations (in the Zawia region) for deliberately disposing of the quantities of fuel allocated to them for the benefit of fuel smuggling groups.
Their quota of fuel will be allocated to other petrol stations in the region not involved in fuel smuggling.
The Attorney General’s Office said the investigator has proceeded to prosecute those accused of fuel smuggling.
