The Attorney General announced on Sunday that the Prosecutor has ordered the provisional detention of the Health Ministry’s Financial Controller pending investigation.
He is charged of deliberately requesting bribes in exchange for facilitating the payment of service contracts provided by enforcement tools in the sector, in addition to obtaining LD 40,000, receiving US$ 10,000, and receiving a vehicle worth LD 195,000, in exchange for signing financial transactions for stakeholders.

It will be recalled that the Attorney General’s Office had announced on Sunday that the Public Prosecutor had ordered the detention, pending the case, of the Legal Department official of the Health Ministry.
The accused is charged with receiving LD 85,000 in exchange for facilitating the payment of the price of contracts concluded by the Ministry along with implementation tools.
He is also charged with receiving other movable property in exchange for completing administrative transactions related to the financial affairs of some health sector employees.
