The Traghen Teaching Hospital in the municipality of Traghen announced the completion of a project to install a solar power system in its Kidney Department, Libya’s state news agency LANA reported today.
The project is part of a project to install solar energy systems in 12 kidney centers in the southern region. The project was coordinated by the Office of the Ministry of Health in the southern region to reduce burdens and bring health and medical services closer to patients with kidney failure in the municipality and its neighbouring areas.
