The Restaurant and Food Show – Benghazi 2 to 5 October

The Commercial Director of Al-Wasl Company for Organizing Exhibitions, Siraj Garfa, told Libya Herald that an exhibition for restaurants and food will be organized from 2 to 5 October in Benghazi.

He said the preliminary phase of the exhibition is currently being implemented, represented in marketing the exhibition to local and international companies, and a guide for exhibitors will be announced with their identities and nationalities.

To provide a fruitful commercial incubator for the sector
Garfa added that the main objective of organizing the restaurants and food exhibition is to increase the chances of exhibitors and owners of companies and brands to succeed, to provide prospects for building a valuable communication network, and to provide a fruitful commercial incubator for this distinguished sector.

Benghazi’s food sector is developing
Regarding holding the event in the city of Benghazi specifically, Garafa confirmed that the goal of choosing the city of Benghazi to hold the exhibition is that it enjoys stability, economic growth, good expansion in local restaurant chains, and the spread of major food markets in various regions of the city, in addition to the presence of specialized agencies in the field of food representing international brands from different countries of the world.

Good moral support from authorities for the exhibition
He said there was good moral support from the official authorities to organize exhibitions specialized in food, which have good positive effects on the development of methods of display, marketing, wholesale, and retail for various foodstuffs. Exhibitions also lead to the modernization and renewal of the general look of restaurants, their equipment, cooking equipment and the presentation of food in modern ways in line with the great boom in restaurants around the world. This, he explained, tended towards making the restaurant a place not only for eating, but for entertainment and enjoyment time too.
